Hi there! I am a North Carolina licensed psychologist (#6680) with nearly 10 years of experience in the field of school psychology.
In my practice, I provide cognitive (also known as aptitude or IQ) assessment and academic achievement testing for children ages 4 through 17 years. Please read more below about the specific type of evaluation you are interested in, and reach out to discuss whether my evaluation services are a good fit for you. I look forward to hearing from you.

Psychoeducational Evaluation
Cognitive and academic strengths and weaknesses are assessed in order to diagnose reading (dyslexia), writing (dysgraphia), and math (dyscalculia) disorders. Emotional and behavior assessments may be included to determine if related difficulties are also present. This includes evaluation for symptoms of ADHD.
Giftedness
IQ and achievement assessment for the purpose of identifying intellectual and academic giftedness. Early admission to kindergarten is one potential use for this evaluation.
Educational Assessment
Nationally standardized educational testing in the areas of English grammar, reading, spelling and math provides a broad assessment of acquired academic knowledge. This is useful to meet end-of-grade homeschool requirements.
